Biography

Il Concerto Intempestivo is an ensemble founded in 2023 by violinists Rahel Boell and Jaume Guri, cellist Rebecca Krieg, and harpsichordist Eliot Dios. Having studied together at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, they perform on historical instruments while drawing on their diverse backgrounds in improvisation, contemporary music, and composition. This enables them to craft inventive programs telling a story through their music and creating a new kind of concert experience for the audience.

With their program “The Rite of Spring - Baroque edition” they won the “Musikfestspiele Potsdam Sanssouci Competition” (2025) and the first prize at the “Emerging Artist Competition” in Vancouver (2024).

They have performed at festivals such as “Freunde Alter Musik Basel”, “Espazos Sonoros”, and “Barocktage Solothurn”, with upcoming engagements including “Thüringer Bachwochen”, “Label Suisse Festival”, and “Musikfestspiele Potsdam Sanssouci”.
